1. Old Age Pension Scheme
Under the Social Security Pension Scheme, senior citizens receive a monthly pension from the Rajasthan Government.
Main schemes include:
- Chief Minister Old Age Pension Scheme
- Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme
Generally, eligibility begins at: 58 years for men, 55 years for women.
2. Chief Minister Pilgrimage Scheme
The Rajasthan Government provides free pilgrimage tours for senior citizens to various religious places.
Facilities provided:
- Free travel
- Food
- Accommodation
Popular destinations include:
- Haridwar
- Ayodhya
- Vaishno Devi
- Rameshwaram
- Tirupati
- Dwarka etc.
Tours by bus, Rail and by Air also.
3. Concession in Rajasthan Roadways Travel
Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) offers:
Free travel within Rajasthan for citizens aged 80 years and above. One care tacker is free. Fare concessions for other senior citizens. For this Govt provides travel card if needed.
4. Healthcare Facilities
Senior citizens can avail cashless treatment under government health schemes.
Main scheme:
Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana
This scheme provides treatment facilities in thousands of hospitals across Rajasthan and India.
5. Old Age Homes and Day Care Centers
The state operates several old age homes and service centers providing:

The Rajasthan State Senior Citizen Welfare Board works for:
